Borderline Buddies Garden in Bloom

It's another Wednesday and another Borderline Buddies Share.
Leanna and I are continuing on our month of it Spring yet where you are at?
Here in Northeastern PA....NOT!
I think it's colder weather now...than it was in February/'s crazy weather, but I hear...Spring will soon be here...I'm awaiting that!
Let's see what Leanna has to share this week with us....
Now onto my share for this week.....
I have a fun card which I designed myself actually....using this stamp set, Garden in Bloom, it's a no brainer stamp's a two step (or three depending on which stamps you are using) and creates a beautiful any color.
The stamp set I used was Garden in Bloom.  This is a huge stamp set with a set of 20 stamps.  It is also a photopolymer stamp set...which makes it super easy to stamp on top of each other....there is also a little pointer type part of the stamp which indicates the "top" and helps you align the second stamp to stamp on top of the previous stamped image.
I was thinking when don't I?  And I remembered a chocolate company in my area, Gertrude Hawks Chocolates (which check out their web page if you want to get some great chocolate).....and I remembered these little ladybugs they sell.  OMG...if you love peanut butter....and chocolate....then you will absolutely love these lady bug chocolate delights.

I thought it would make a special treat to my card...this card you would not really be able to send through the post office (unless you put it into a box or something like that), but hand delivered, the card is wonderful and the chocolate....insanely wonderful!
The colors used on the card are Early Espresso to stamp the flower outline, Pool Party for the bold image of the flower, Pear Pizzazz for the leaves inking up the bold image and stamping off before stamping and then the outline image stamped full force.  The centers were stamped with So Saffron.  I adhered the ladybug chocolate using our Glue Dots.
I tried to get the best clear picture I could showing how cute the foil covering of the chocolate is...anyone receiving this card and special treat would enjoy it immensely.

I hope you enjoyed my share today.....
Be sure to come back tomorrow where I'll have more to share using this fun stamp set!

Stampin' Up! Ultimate Blog Hop in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness

I'm super excited to be a part of this fun blog hop.... When I heard of this fun hop from Janet Wakeland....I had to jump at the chance to be a part of this.
Breast Cancer Awareness is a very important cause...just just for the month of October for it should be brought to our attention every day....but we especially have made October the month to remind us of how important it is to be tested.....
On a personal note, two years back I wasn't feeling well.  I went for the blood work, x-rays and all the normal types of testing....I was then sent for an abdominal ultrasound and there was something that showed to further understand what it was, I was then sent for more x-rays and a CAT was made quite clear that I had a lemon-sized mass in my left after discussing it at length with my urologist the decision was made to remove the kidney. We didn't know at the time what it was, malignant, non malignant, had to spread, was it encapsulat…

Out With The Old...In With the New Blog Hop

Thanks for stopping by today....I would like to welcome to our Blog Hop....we are saying good-bye to the old...and welcoming in the new!  Are you ready?
Let's put on our hopping shoes and go!
So...let's take a look....can you see what's old and what's new?

First off...the bear was used from the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set Item # 142043 along with the coordinating punch Cookie Cutter Builder Punch Item # 140396.

The new is the Lift Me Up Bundle Item # 144711 (w) and 144712 (c).  The stamp set is Lift Me Up and the Thinlits are Up & Away...the clouds were also done using the Thinlits Dies.

I also used our Cardstock Vellum and cut out the coordinating pieces for the back of the balloon...along with the basket thinlit.

I love this little bear....he's not just for babies and Christmas...I can see so many other things done using him.
Thanks for stopping by....time to hop on over to the next blog!
