Thoughtful Branches and Vellum

Hello and Happy Sunday!'s Sunday...and yes...I'm here....can you believe it? Yup!  Me neither!  lol
I felt bad that I have neglected posting anything for the past few days...but it's been super crazy...I'm not even sure where the past few days have gone....I even took off Friday from work....
I've been having some swelling and pain in my hands....occupational hazard...but hopefully I'll be able to get some therapy and it'll help with the pain and a few days off from typing and they are feeling a little better...still swollen...but well...occupational hazard....
Anyhow.....I have something to share with you today...other than my medical issues...
I've been so loving the Thoughtful Branches Bundle....
I love it....and I think everyone should add this bundle to their collection.
This card I created for a card swap....I'm a little late with this month's swap..seems to be the going trend with me lately...but I have going to change all of that...and get myself back to I go on another subject again....
Anyhow it's a group of seven of us that swap cards each month.  You have to create six cards and then send them each month to one another...sure does make picking up the mail every day more pleasant knowing that there may be a hand stamped card in the box...rather than just bills!
So this is this month's swap.....I hope they don't read my blog....well today anyhow....
The cardstock I used was Whisper White, Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Vellum.
I never seem to use vellum I saw a card online something like this...but added the Crumb Cake layer.  The vellum was stamped using our Basic Black Archival stamp pad.
There are three layers of vellum.  The top stamped with the trees on the right side and saying on the left...the center one blank and the back one stamped with the trees off to the left side.

I added some pearls scattered about...

And three pearls on the right hand side.

As well as two staples holding the three pieces together...I think it can out rather nice.....
I hope they like it.....

Stampin' Up! Ultimate Blog Hop in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness

I'm super excited to be a part of this fun blog hop.... When I heard of this fun hop from Janet Wakeland....I had to jump at the chance to be a part of this.
Breast Cancer Awareness is a very important cause...just just for the month of October for it should be brought to our attention every day....but we especially have made October the month to remind us of how important it is to be tested.....
On a personal note, two years back I wasn't feeling well.  I went for the blood work, x-rays and all the normal types of testing....I was then sent for an abdominal ultrasound and there was something that showed to further understand what it was, I was then sent for more x-rays and a CAT was made quite clear that I had a lemon-sized mass in my left after discussing it at length with my urologist the decision was made to remove the kidney. We didn't know at the time what it was, malignant, non malignant, had to spread, was it encapsulat…

Out With The Old...In With the New Blog Hop

Thanks for stopping by today....I would like to welcome to our Blog Hop....we are saying good-bye to the old...and welcoming in the new!  Are you ready?
Let's put on our hopping shoes and go!
So...let's take a look....can you see what's old and what's new?

First off...the bear was used from the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set Item # 142043 along with the coordinating punch Cookie Cutter Builder Punch Item # 140396.

The new is the Lift Me Up Bundle Item # 144711 (w) and 144712 (c).  The stamp set is Lift Me Up and the Thinlits are Up & Away...the clouds were also done using the Thinlits Dies.

I also used our Cardstock Vellum and cut out the coordinating pieces for the back of the balloon...along with the basket thinlit.

I love this little bear....he's not just for babies and Christmas...I can see so many other things done using him.
Thanks for stopping by....time to hop on over to the next blog!
