UPDATE....UPDATE......UPDATE.....

Stampin’ Up! announced this week that they will continue to sell the Beautiful Branches bundle while supplies last.

Incidentally, once the current supply is out, it’s gone forever and will not be included in future catalogs (there were rumors).

You might still be able to add it to your order on September 1, but that’s a risk
 I can’t advise.  🙂

BE SURE TO PLACE YOUR ORDER TODAY....

Now back to our regularly scheduled blog post......

Being today is the final day, I suggested we use this for our Borderline Buddies Challenge....

So let's jump on up to Canada and see what Leanna has created:

Now, my turn....I hosted a class last evening in my home featuring the Thoughtful Bundles stamp set and coordinating framelits...and this was one of the cards the ladies created.

I saw this idea on Pinterest using the tree top as a pumpkin....I loved it....

The leaves were also stamped and cut out with the framelits with the bundle along with the trunk which became the stem of the pumpkin.   The saying also comes along with the bundle....

I used the Woodland embossing folder.  I inked the folder with Early Espresso ink and then put the piece of cardstock inside and closed it.  I love the look it gives to the background...almost makes it look like it is embossed.

I also used the burlap ribbon as well.    I think this is a favorite use of this bundle....so if you haven't ordered it, you may want to jump on over to my website and place an order if you do not have a demonstrator.....

Thanks for stopping by....have a SUper Stampin' Day!

You're In My Thoughts - Thoughtful Branches

Tonight is my Thoughtful Branches Class.

I thought I would bring back another "oldie" technique that was done some time ago.

It's using Baby Wipes and our bottles of reinkers.

Just drip some of the colors of your choice onto the baby wipe sheets (about three) and it creates a new type of ink pad.

Then all you do is ink up your stamp and stamp the cardstock.

The saying was stamped using Early Espresso ink.

I love this look....and I think you should give it a try if you haven't yet...It's really a lot of fun...

I did a bit of layering and its as easy as that!

Hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did creating it!

Have a SUper stampin day!

Weekend Wedding Card Share

Hello and Happy Monday!

What a full weekend I had....as many of you know that follow me on Facebook, I attended a wedding on Saturday....and of course me being the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I do not buy any cards!  I actually cannot even tell you how much a card sells for...It's been way over 16 years since I even purchased one....and I think it is so much special when you create one of your very own.

So I thought I would share it with you.  A few of the products are retired...but I love how the card turned out.

Here it is.....

I used the Happy Heart Embossing folder on the layered piece of Very Vanilla which is still available.

I also used a retired embossing folder for the tag.

I also used Retired White Vanilla ribbon along with the gold ribbon.

The stamp set is retired as well...and I decided to emboss it with gold and cut it out layering it along with the Congratulations and then punched it out (retired punch).

I'm sure you could recreate this with current products....

I think it turned out lovely....and I'm sure the bride/groom will love it.

Thanks for stopping by.  If you need a demonstrator and do not currently have one, I would be happy to help you in any way I can.

Any other questions on the card, feel free to let me know!

Have a SUper stampin' day!

Ho! Ho! Ho! The HOliday Catalog is coming!

Ho Ho Ho!  The HOliday catalog is coming...are you ready for it?

I hate having to do this to you.....the teasing....but I'm super excited to share with you some of the projects I'm playing with.

This cute little house was created using the Home Sweet Home Bundle...which is super cute.

It's a bit tedious....but after the first one or two that you create......it's easier to create....and my next house I'm going to incorporate one of the new packs of DSP coming soon too!

I added a little Cookie Cutter Christmas Santa to the mix.....He's a bit large for his little house....but I guess he's been hitting the cookies and milk a bit too much!  :-)

Santa is super cute....don't you think?

Here's the back.....even Santa needs a back door....just in case he needs to escape from the elves..
or the Mrs.

Here's a little video for you to see some great ideas on the Home Sweet Home Bundle

It's SUper cute and I know it's something you'll want to add to your Wish List....

Have a SUper stampin' day!

Cookie Cutter Meets Thoughtful Branches

Cookie Cutter Meets Thoughtful Branches

I hope you aren't tired of my Cookie Cutter shares....but I just cannot seem to get enough of them!

As you know, Thoughtful Branches is a limited time only (or unless SU changes their mind) that is available until only the end of this month.

I like to incorporate the "old" with the "new".....the "old" being the Thoughtful Branches and the new Cookie Cutter Halloween of course!

These little guys are so much fun to make.....just stamp, color and punch!

I am also using new Designer Series Paper along with new Enamel Dots....

I added a little bit of Linen Thread tied around their neck....one but a bow...and another just a knot.

I can think of so many people I would like to send this card to.....so instead I have decided to share it with all of you.....I hope you liked it!

Have a SUper Stampin' Day!

Borderline Buddies OSW....a what?

Borderline Buddies Wednesday

It's another Wednesday....and another Borderline Buddies.

This week Leanna shouted out the idea.....a OSW....a What?  lol

It's the One Sheet Wonder Idea....I think most of you if you have been with me for a while, have heard of One Sheet Wonders.

It's where you take a piece of cardstock and stamp on it all over kind of like making your own Designer Series Paper and then cut up the sheet and create a stack of cards....or whatever you wish to create!  It's a simple concept....and if you cannot seem to find the paper that you are looking for.....create your own!  It's that easy!

Let's see what Leanna has come up with this week:

Now...my turn.....

Okay....so I started this post...and then was going to add to it when I created my OSW....well...phew....it was quite a project...if I must say....
So...I was online looking for inspiration and what to do and I came across a 6 x 6 OSW created by Deb Valden. Her web site is www.stampladee.com   It was very inspiring...so I decided instead of stamping my own...I would use DSP....Designer Series Paper.

I absolutely love the Fruit Stand DSP...the colors are amazing...and the prints are stunning.

Here is the template which I copied.
On the left is the cut up DSP....On the right is the template on how to cut your DSP.

The base of the cards is Whisper White...and you get six cards in all with using a 6x6 DSP.  Our DSP is 12 x 12..so if you really wanted to, you could end up with 24 cards if using the entire sheet of DSP.

Now for the measurements of the other layers:
Base Cards:  All base cards are cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2"
Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
9 pieces that measure 1 3/4 x 3 1/4
2 pieces that measure 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
3 pieces that measure 1 3/4 x 1 3/4
4 pieces that measure 1/2 x 4 1/4
2 pieces that measure 1/2 x 5 1/2
2 pieces that measure 1 x 4 3/4
Whisper White Additional Pieces:
4 pieces that measure 1 1/2 x 3
2 pieces that measure 2 x 2

And here are the cards...all six of them....

The only stamp set I used was Garden in Bloom.  I did use little scraps of the In Color Ribbon along with little pieces of Whisper White and stamped the extra butterflies and bees.

I don't think it is showing up but I also used the Clear Wink of Stella over the butterflies, bees and flowers here and there....these cards are really stunning in person....and I love them...hope you do as well!

This idea makes a great class idea...if you are a demonstrator...or a way to create a stack of cards in almost no time at all.

I hope you enjoyed this week's challenge...I have to say..I wasn't prepared for it....but it's been a while without a challenge.....

Hope you have a SUper stampin' day!

Halloween Time - Treats....no Tricks Here!

Happy Monday!

I am SUper excited about the new Holiday Catalog....I am just loving this bundle....Cookie Cutter Christmas....along with the coordinating Cookie Cutter Halloween.

I am always on the look out for items from dollar stores that I can incorporate into my stamping...and guess what.....the Halloween decorations and such are already hitting the store.....and when I saw these pencils...I right away knew what I was going to do with them....Halloween treats for the trick or treaters (and my grandson's daycare friends).

These are super fun to create...although sadly the treat bags retired last catalog...but I did stock up on them before they retired....

I have a video to share on how I created them...check it out here:

I hope you enjoyed them....they are super fun....

Mario and Luigi Meet the Punches

So...I get the order...and I act upon it....

Travis' birthday (my grandson) is having a birthday in November....and this year we are into Mario & Friends.....so, I'm in charge of the invitations....I love it!

So...I jumped right on it....and headed to my favorite inspiration spot....Pinterest!

Here's what I saw and created....with a little help with another demonstrator.

Like they say....the eyes have it!

Well...you cannot have Mario without......

Ta Da....Luigi

Now Mario and Luigi have been around for quite some time.....I remember them when my kids were young...but what's old is new again......

The one thing that I did learn....is that they are pretty much the same....but the mustache's are different......Guess I never noticed that before....but...well, I do now!  :-)

So...that's the start of the birthday invites...just need the details to finish them up...and we will be all set...invitation wise!

Hope you liked them!

Have a super Mario Stampin' Day!
