Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects

Paper Pumpkin - An Alternate Idea Did you visit my blog yesterday?  If not...when you are done here, make sure to head on back to yesterday post and see all the information about Paper Pumpkin. So after creating the fun project planned for this month's kit by Stampin' Up!, I wanted to experiment further and see what else I can create and here's one of the projects I came up with: Sorry about the first picture below...when I downloaded the photos I took, apparently the other photos didn't publish....so I just have this close up one, but I think you get the picture (pardon the pun)....and how about the paper doily?   I used the ink pad to color the doily from white to Peek A Boo Peach. '
Here's another card project I created..I used the ribbon (which is a free Sale-A-Bration item). I also colored the doily with Sweet Sugarplum Ink along with Chocolate Chip ink.

These little hearts remind me of the conversation hearts candy.    Cute, huh?

Be sure to check out Pap…

Welcome to another Borderline Buddies I cannot believe....it's another week....where is the time going? I've been a bit absent from my blog lately....I really don't even know why other than time seems to pass by so quick....and things seem to keep happening, but here we are today. So Leanna and I are still sharing new product...and when I usually post my blogger posts on Sunday, it is late Tuesday evening and I'm doing my post last minute....It's been quite a week here...my Dory had a visit to the vet to get spayed on Monday and she will be coming home Wednesday (today)....Tommy and I are missing her.  Speaking of Tommy, he's been not feeling well...not sure if it's because of Dory's absence or what...but he's been sick...and I've been doing a lot of carpet cleaning....with Tommy's sickness, but the reason we are here.....Borderline Buddies! We are still sharing new products and new stuff!  woo hoo.... cannot seem to get enough new...how abo…

Paper Pumpkin .....It's a Good Thing!

Hello Stampers & Scrappers! Today I wanted to share with you my Paper Pumpkin kit from December. What a fun kit this was and I was so excited to create this fun scrapbook that will last throughout the rest of the year. The cover is acetate....and I used the included Washi Tape to the outside edges. I did the same with the back acetate sheet as well. Here is a close up of the page...the other items used are die cuts which already have adhesive...they are actually like stickers but made with our thick cardstock.
The dragonfly was an additional add on which I used and created it using our Gold Paper and the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies Item # 142749.

I posting just a few pages included in the book...it came with quite a lot of supplies this month including a Basic Black Marker along with a rotary stamp which is so fun and I'm looking forward to adding it to the book along with future projects!
Just a few more pages...they even included sticker sheets to add your journal…

Hey Chick.....

First off....just want to send hugs and kisses to my grandson, Preston...Happy 1st Birthday Preston! I cannot wait to see you again on Sunday! Now...back to our regularly scheduled posting..... Welcome to another week of Borderline Buddies Seems like winter has finally arrived...and then...maybe not...lol We have been having the strangest weather here in PA...snowing/ice one day....50 another day! I am definitely not complaining of about the 50 degree weather...but the ice....I'm not a fan. I pretty much will drive in any snow to get to work and home....but the ice...just not happy about that.... Last week I registered for an upcoming event that Stampin' Up! is hosting in Richard, Virginia in April....and it cannot come soon enough....not that I'm wishing Occasions/Sale-A-Bration to be over, but at this fun event, we will receive some new goodies from the new upcoming 2017-2018 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog which is super exciting...we also swap with each other card…

It's High Tide....somewhere.....

By the Sea....By the Sea...By the Wonderful Sea..... ahh.....I'm dreaming again....but....figured I would stamp it too. I created this fun card using the High Tide Stamp Set Item # 143006.  It's a fun stamp set of 16 stamps....and a ton of sayings as well.....the one I used on this fun card.  It's very easy to stamp with...as it is a photopolymer stamp set...and the lighthouse is created using two separate stamps...one for the background and one for the highlights.....
As many of you know...I love the beach and the ocean...and just don't seem to get there as much as I would like...and while its snowy, cold and nasty and dark here in PA....it's nice to stamp and dream...and this is a fun stamp set you'll want to add to your collection....
Here's another stamp set with different cardstocks being used....this one shows more detail in the two step stamping on the lighthouse....makes it look 3D!  Love it! So...be sure to check out the Occasions Catalog and see …

A little share....Non Stampin' Related.

I have a fun project to share today....and it's not stamping related....but I love it..... and cannot wait to share it with you! As many of you know....one of my favorite stores to pick up fun goodies is Dollar Tree....and here is my latest creation (non stamping related).....all created with DT items (except the ribbon which is retired from Stampin' Up!) The base is actually a green Styrofoam circle...I then used a glue gun to attach the items.  As a filler I used some baby's breath. I also used some wrapping paper  that was red/shiny and filled in with leaves.
The ribbon is actually Stampin' Up! ribbon that I purchased from the Clearance Rack....yes...even SU has a Clearance Rack...be sure to check it out!
Here's a closer view of the wreath.
I hope you enjoyed it.....I do enjoy all sorts of craft, not just stamping and I was so thrilled with the wreath I created I wanted to share....but tomorrow...we will be back to stamping...promise! Have a SUper Stampin'…

Swan Lake in the Cold Winter Days....

What is more peaceful that a lake with a swan? As we are getting ready to get into the deep dark winter months, this card brings me the feeling that spring/summer isn't too far away.....and what more can you get from this than peace and of course, I felt Thank You is the perfect sentiment for this card.  This was actually a case from the Occasions Catalog...with a little touch of Stampin' Sue in it. Did you know you can CASE (copy and steal everything...or share) from the catalog? It's a great resource...even for us demonstrators!

Borderline Buddies Lift Me Up!

It's another week...and another Borderline Buddies...can you believe it?
Here we are..into week two of the year 2017....before you know it...well...it will be spring!  Right?
So...Leanna and I felt we should continue on with new product...there are so many new products which I love and I'm sure Leanna as well....so let's head on up to Canada and see what Leanna has been creating.
http://stampingwithleanna.com
Now...heading back to the States.....my turn to share..... Lift Me Up Who doesn't love a hot air balloon? On my bucket list is to go for a hot air balloon ride...while I'm not a fan of heights, if I am in a confined area (such as a basket), I think I would be okay....but who knows....so instead... I thought I would take the safer ride....from my stampin' desk.....
These pictures didn't turn out too well...It's really hard to get a good picture of a balloon floating....

But this card is like a spinner card....with the balloon floating in the cente…
