More Plaids.....more wipes!

More Plaids....more wipes please!

Well...did you think I was done with my plaid technique?

What am I talking about?  Be sure to check back to yesterday's blog post and watch my video and you'll be all caught up.

I had so much fun creating some green plaids that I thought...hmmmm...let's add a few more colors...

and here's what I got...It's Mr. & Mrs. Bear.....

They are all decked out for a party....with their coordinating outfits of course.

The ribbon I used is the FREE Sale-A-Bration Ribbon....Item # 143601..It is a 3/8" metallic ribbon combo pack.....white ribbon woven with shiny silver accents and a vanilla ribbon woven with shiny gold accents...you get 2 rolls....with 7 yards of each...of 2 colors...I don't know about you, but I love ribbon.....and making bows.....love that too!

I think this couple needed a little more sparkle...so I added the Clear Wink of Stella to the hat, bows and little tu-tu....making them shine and glisten...and ready to party!

So be sure to check out yesterday's post...for my you tube video...or heck..just click below

While you are checking out this video...be sure to check out my other videos I have posted....and be sure to hit the subscribe button and the little bell so you will be notified of my future uploads....

I'm working toward reaching 500 subscribers....so your one click to subscribe might just be the one to get me there!  woohoo!

Hope you enjoyed my bear adventure along with my plaid wipe technique!

Baby Wipes + Reinkers = Plaid

Helllllloooooo Weekend....what a week it's been....how about you?

Any plans for your weekend?  As of the time I am writing this...none for me...but you never know...a single woman like myself...might get swept off my feet at any time.....wishful thinking there!  lol

Hey...I'm still hopeful.....:-)

So....thought I would share a little more of the green with you.....

Let's incorporate something old with something new....or something really old and something old...

What do you think of when you hear babywipes and reinkers?

Bring back any memories to you oldie stampers?

Well..what is old...is new again...with a different spin on it this time.

I saw this idea and I had to give it a try and create something fun....so I am going to call this technique The Baby Wipe Swipe...lol

How fun is the background on this card?

I also used the Bear Hugs Stamp set (item # 139542 W and  #139546 C0 along with the coordinating framelits Item # 140275)

I also incorporated a Sale-a-Bration Stamp set, Any Occasion Item # 143348 stamp set.

I stamped using the Early Espresso ink on the bear and his bow tie/hat and the Celebrate banner with Basic Black.  I love this Any Occasion stamp set...you can make a banner for just about anything!

Wondering how I created this plaid background?

Here's a little video I put together showing you how easy it is...all you need is a few baby wipes and our reinker bottles.....let's take a look...shall we?

Remarkable Blog Hop - Sale-A-Bration

Welcome to the Remarkable
Blog Hop Sale-A-Bration

I'm so excited to be a part of this month's blog hop....the theme for this month is the must have's...the cannot live without....even if they are on back order.....
from the Occasions Spring Catalog and/or the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.

So when I saw this theme, I knew immediately what I had to have the first time I got a glimpse at the Occasions Catalog...I have to say...it was love at first sight....and I had to have them!

Unfortunately attending the On Stage Event in November, 2016, I was hoping I would have won the stamp set....but no worries...it was worth the wait to be able to order from the catalog when demos were able to preorder.....so, what's my pick/s you ask?

Well, they are both posted on the same page in the Occasions Catalog...page 24...

Have you figured it out yet?

It had to be the Beautiful You Stamp Set (item # 143004 W and # 143637 C)
and the Watercolor Pencils Iitem # 141709)

Here's a fun card I came up with using both of my favorites

I'm not sure what the technical type of fold this is..maybe a Dutch fold?

The top flips up and the bottom opens up (like Dutch doors).

I also used one of my favorite papers, Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack (item #141642).
This paper stack is found in our annual catalog and while we are astonished by the scenery of this paper, I went to the other side...and decided to use that on the top and do a splash of the scenery paper on the bottom doors.

The card was stamped with our Basic Black Ink and colored with the fabulous Watercolor Pencils using our Aqua Painters (item # 103954).

I just love how this card turned out...while it looks difficult it really isn't....it's easy to create but makes quite a statement and I love how it can be displayed by the receiver.

Now...onto the next blog on your journey.....enjoy!

Welcome to another week of Borderline Buddies!

Can you believe it's almost the end of February?  Well, this will be the last BB post for February....can you believe it?

I cannot believe we are almost through February...and the temperatures here in NEPA were crazy this past weekend..up to 60 degrees....in February?  Like...what?

Well, unfortunately I didn't even get out of the house this weekend...I'm still battling this horrible sinus issue I have been having and I honestly have to say...I AM SICK OF BEING SICK!

I either have to get better...or move south!
I don't see any plans of moving south, so I'm going to have to focus on kissing this sickness goodbye!

So...let's move onward...and upward...to Canada...where my BFF Leanna has created something fun for this week...check out her blog at:

I guess it's my turn now....so...what could I have created for this week?

I think any Mom would love to receive this for Mother's Day (I know I would!)

Here a picture of the inside...although not the best, but you can see how I stamped on the edge of the Whisper White on the inside.....

I cannot tell you how much I love this set and one that you'll want to add to your collection.....so, what are you waiting for?  Head on over to my online store and get one for yourself...or two...or three....lol

Somewhere Over the Rainbow......

Somewhere Over The Rainbow....

So if you follow me on you tube, you would have seen these cards, but if not, here is a closer look.

For this one, I just used the Whisper White, Basic Black and Daffodil Delight.

I stamped the sun on an all over background...and then one and cut it out and added dimensionals.

For this one, I added a punch art pot of gold.

The pot was created with a circle punch along with  word window punch with a little bit of trimming.

I love how this card turned out......

Just For You Card......

Happy Monday

Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend...and it's back to the work week!

Yikes!

Where did the weekend go? They go by so quickly...and today they are calling for some high winds in my area....we had a miserable day yesterday...kind of like snow/sleet/freezing rain and overcast....YUCK!  I spent the day in my stampin' space making my day happy.....stamping always makes me happy....

So one of the girls at work, her husband had a heart attack and we are going to collect some money and give to her to help with expenses...and I of course volunteered to make the card.....

So when I sat down...I have an vision in what I wanted to create but had a problem finding the right stamp for the saying on the card......so here's what I came up with:

I used a retired stamp for the saying.....and Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Set.

The DSP is from the Occasions Catalog, Falling in Love Item # 142788

I also used the Falling in Love Embellishment Item # 142791, Lace Doilies Item # 142793, along with the Very Vanilla 1/4 Satin Ribbon Item # 142794.

I also created the envelope using the Envelope Punch Board...for which you can create from the smallest to the largest of envelopes.....

The card I created was actually an 8 1/2 x 11" card folded in half, so that is usually a different size to find an envelope for...so make one for yourself!

Hope you enjoyed my share today!

Hope you have a SUper Stampin' Day!

Glimmer Hugs!
